Why, I Have Faith in My Lord Jesus Christ.

The next word I want to share with you is Faith. The dictionary definition of faith in Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary states: Faith is an allegiance to duty or a person; Loyalty. 2: Fidelity to one's promise. 3: A belief in traditional doctrines of a religion. 4: Belief and Trust in and Loyalty to God. 5: Sincerity of Intention. 6: Firm belief in something which there is no proof. 7: Complete Trust in something that is believed, with strong conviction. Like a religious system of beliefs, without doubt or question. Here you can see the different ways people look at faith and some of the ways faith can be explained here, and I can believe too.

But this is not the reason that I am sharing my thoughts on Faith with you. I believe in these words, but I feel that there is a lot more to learn about Faith than just a dictionary version. You see, as a servant of my Lord Jesus, I have lost my faith in him and my Father. And at my worst of times, he was right there beside me, saying Don't be afraid, just follow me. He never gave up on me, and now I will never give up on him.

In Faith, what is faith? In the dictionary, it shows us in a broad way what we should know about the word faith. But did you know that these words are not the only way you should look at the word faith? In this definition of the word faith. I have seen and heard different views of the word faith. So, I have read about all of a faith definition in dictionaries I can find, and they all say about the same words. But what I don't see is how you can get faith and keep it. Well, I know we all have faith of some kind, of all kinds of faith, like for example, that your car will start every day, that your favorite place to eat will never close, or that nothing bad will ever happen to you, and there is so much more I could say about this kind of faith. But even this is a part of faith, but not what kind of faith I want to share with you.

But for me, it started when I believed in the existence of my God and his Son, Jesus. For this was my beginning of my new life in Jesus and our Father, this is the word faith, the word is shown in the bible. example, Titus chapter 1 verse 1 states: Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of truth which is godliness, and also in First John chapter 5 verse 4 it states: For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. In case you have trouble understanding what I am saying from these two books of the NJV bible. I will also share with you from my Living Study Bible. In this Bible, it states: In Titus chapter 1, verse 1, it states: This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. In First John, chapter 5, verse 4, it states: For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

In closing of the word Faith, I know that at times in my life I have lost my faith and I truly did not know what to believe in my Father or my Lord Jesus Christ. But one day, when I thought I truly was losing my mind and my hope, for some reason. I pick up my bible and I turn to Matthew and read this statement from Jesus " It is never to late to come back to Father " I truly believe that. Like I have said before, I do not want you to believe like I do, but I would like you to wonder what it would feel like if you did.
